He graduated in 1998, received master's degree in 2002 and doctorate in 2008 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Belgrade. Since 2018, he has been a full professor at the Weapon Systems Department.

Through educational work, scientific research and professional engagement, he deals with various areas in the field of defense technologies: terminal ballistics, projectile design, physics of explosion and rocket propulsion. He is the author of more than 70 scientific works published in journals and at scientific meetings, as well as a large number of expert papers, analyses, reports and reviews.

He was the Vice dean for international cooperation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the period 2018-2021. He has been the head of the Weapon Systems Department since 2020, and a member of the Council of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering since 2022. He is married and the father of one child.
