Associate Professor at Aerospace Engineering Department of the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering where she previously obtained her PhD in 2014. Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, Center for Turbulence Research from November 2021 till July 2022. Her research is mainly focused on computational aerodynamics, rotating lifting surfaces, wind energy, turbulence, efficiency improvement, numerical simulations, aircraft design and optimization. JS has participated in several national research projects. Authored or co-authored over 100 scientific publications and technical solutions. JS has prepared and given lectures in 10 different subjects at all three levels of study (BSc, MSc, PhD). Continuously works with students and younger colleagues and has guided and taken part in >20 MSc theses committees. JS is currently supervising 2 PhD students, while 1 successfully defended his thesis in 2022.
