He is an аssociate professor at the Department of Naval Architecture at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the President of the Society of Naval Architects of Serbia (SNAS) since December 2023. In addition to membership in DBIT, he is a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) based in the United Kingdom, and a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers from the United States (SNAME). He is also a member of the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade.

His pedagogical, scientific & research, and engineering work is primarily related to the fields of ship structures, ship strength, and ship design.
