He is a full professor at the Department of Automatic Control at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He founded and manages the work of the Laboratory for Industrial Automation and the Laboratory for Intelligent Buildings.

He introduced several modern courses related to the implementation of real-time control in industry and buildings into the teaching of automatic control. He is the author of more than 50 scientific papers, 4 textbooks and over 50 realized projects of automatic control systems in the country and abroad. He was supervisor of 85 master theses. He is also a lecturer at the SITRAIN training centre. He taught at the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka. Stayed on training and study trips in several European countries.

He is a member of the Council of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Belgrade and several faculty committees. He was a member of the School Board of Elementary School Oslobodioci of Belgrade, VI Belgrade Gymnasium and the Board of Directors of Boško Buha Palilula PU. He speaks English and German. He spends his free time in nature, playing basketball and skiing. He is married and the father of two children.
