He is a full professor and Head of the Department of Rail Vehicles at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. In the field of teaching, he participates in all types of rail vehicles in the MAS courses: Locomotives 1 and 2 and Maintenance of rail vehicles, as well as in the courses at OAS and DAS. In addition to teaching, he is actively engaged in development, research and professional work carried out by the Department in calculation, construction and testing of railway vehicles, maintenance systems for railway vehicles, drive systems, national regulations and standards for railway vehicles and equipment and control of railway vehicles. The result of that work is leadership/participation in dozens of projects, studies, technical solutions, and expertise. He participated in two international projects from the FP7 program as well as in ten national projects financed by MPNTR, five of which he was the manager. Based on the results of the research work, he publishes papers in domestic and international journals as well as at scientific and professional meetings. He holds a license as a responsible designer of transport means, warehouses, and machine structures and IKS technology and participated in the development of projects and expert inspections of facilities.
