He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Combustion Engines at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and has been serving as the acting head of the Department for many years. In his pedagogical and scientific research work, he is engaged in numerical modelling of working processes in IC engines, mechatronic systems in engines, measurement and control systems of engines, and engine test benches, as well as engine testing and experimental data numerical analysis. He is particularly active in scientific research and experimental work in collaboration with the automotive industry by implementing research projects in the Engine Laboratory, one of the best-equipped facilities at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, he is involved in consulting activities in designing measurement and control systems of engines and installations for testing engines for various purposes. He is a member of Commission M070 (IC Engines) of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia and also a member of the editorial board of the journal Thermal Science, serving as the editor of the IC Engines section.
