He is a full professor and Principal Research Fellow at the Department of Rail Vehicles at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, as well as the Head of the Laboratory for Engineering Software, Research, and Development of Rail Vehicles. In addition to his teaching and research work in the field of rail vehicles, railway engineering, railway systems, train traction, design and testing of railway vehicles, passive safety of railway vehicles, and maintenance of railway vehicles, he has a reach industrial experience in the development, design, production, testing, and maintenance of railway vehicles.

For many years, through collaboration with the industry, he has been enhancing the work of the Department of Rail Vehicles, leading scholarship, and professional development programs (internships) for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students in cooperation with companies such as "MIND GROUP," "SIEMENS MOBILITY," and "SRBIJA VOZ." He also performs consultancy work, leads, and works on development projects in collaboration with the railway industry, addresses current issues in railway vehicle production, and develops new systems.

He has been the Secretary of the Department of Rail Vehicles since 2021. He is married and a father of two children.
